Hello Everyone.



I am still alive and well! 

I apologize for not emailing and replying to your personal emails these last few weeks. We had the change of being able to video call our families every preparation day now and I am still trying to balance out using both. 

I have been doing really good here and am still in the same area but with my third companion (Elder Simao)

in the field(4th in the mission including training center). He is really great and am glad to be serving here with him.

These last few weeks have been a little crazy with emergency transfers and a lot of investigators. I have been learning how to organize my days a lot more and work more with my head and less with my legs. 

Something I have been thinking about the last few days while studying is a story from pioneers when they were heading west. When they started to run out of food they had started to eat rawhide and it was making them worse. When it got to the worst point and they joined together to pray to God for assistance, They decided not to pray for food but to pray for their bodies to be able to accept the rawhide. Afterwards they prepared the rawhide in a way that they were able to eat without problems to there bodies.  

In our lives we need to realize that we will always have trials and things that are hard to overcome. Our purpose in this life is to grow and learn. We should always been in prayer to our Heavenly Father, but insteads of praying for him to change the situation we are in, we should pray for him to help us overcome our trials and endure them with humility.
