Hello everyone! 



This last weeks has been kinda crazy. We had a surprise mission conference with Elder Godoy. We had the opportunity to learn a lot more about the atonement and how we can apply it in our lives.



This week my companion and I talked with a lot of people and got to know some new investigators better. It has been freezing cold at night and I have been feeling a lot of the "be careful what you wish for" saying. My companion and I don't have blankets but some members lent some to us to use yesterday so we are fine now and I am not freezin to death at night anymore. I have been using a sweater a lot though because it is been cold and it has been strange using a sweater in Brazil.

Hello everyone!!


Life has been great here in Capão Bonito and two things I was waiting for finally came!!!

First, My package from home with new clothes and boots!

second, COLD WEATHER!!!!!

I was so surprised when I had to use a sweater for 2-3 days in a row because it was just super cold and rainy and windy. at night I would wear multiple shirts and pairs of socks and my only pair of sweats I brought, and I would still wake up cold!

This last weeks I got a new companion and he is super great, he has 1 year and 5 months in the mission and I have learned a lot from him.

Elder Musallam - he tells everyone to call him Elder "Mozzarella" because it sounds very similar and most people aren't sure how to say his name.

We have been able to find really good people to teach this past week and I am super excited for a kid named Lucas I made a contact with in the road(I have good luck with kids named Lucas). My companion and I taught him and his mom the restoration and they are super excited. I will be following up with them tonight and I will try and update you on them next week.

I hope everyone has been good these last couple of weeks. I have been growing and learning so much here in the mission! I really love the area I am in and the people here! 

It has been a great couple of weeks with the weather and beautiful sunsets. I can actually see the stars for the most part here since I am out of the big city. It is strange seeing different stars here in Brazil. 

I have some photos for you guys of the sunset and a tarantula! also a drawing a girl from the branch gave me.
